Used it to generate some figures for my masters project. And the nice thing about it is that it's useful for both complicated stuff and very basic things too, like someone learning calculus for the first time. It's nice how Apple makes e.g. GarageBand for musicians, but I think there's an equal market out there for a nice math notebook-style app to help high schoolers with their science and math homework.
Grapher is basically half-way there. It'd be a sad day indeed if Apple ever got rid of it.
